Senior PHP (Yii) developer

We are seeking a Senior PHP developer to join our team at Globaldev Group, an e-commerce start-up providing grocery chains and independent grocery retailers with a complete omni-channel ordering and delivery solution. This is a remote position within our Dream Team.

As a Senior PHP (Yii) developer, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing web applications and services using PHP, with a strong focus on the Yii2 framework. You'll design and implement efficient and scalable backend systems and APIs, collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and stakeholders, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes.

The ideal candidate should have:

• 5+ years of professional experience in PHP development, with expertise in the Yii framework
• Strong backend development skills, including database design, optimization, and RESTful API development
• Solid experience with relational databases (preferably MySQL) and writing optimized SQL queries
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git
• Good English language skills, both written and spoken
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capability to work independently and in a team
