System Engineer (Microsoft systems)

Globaldev Group is seeking an experienced System Engineer with expertise in Microsoft Systems to join their dynamic team. The role involves end-to-end responsibility for both development and maintenance of digital solutions in the transportation, logistics, and supply chain industry.

The ideal candidate will have a problem-solving mindset, the ability to dive into complex systems, and the agility to adapt to a fast-paced environment. The company emphasizes mindset over hard skills, as the environment often requires engineers to spend significant time understanding how systems work before resolving an issue.

Key responsibilities include troubleshooting system issues, working on full-cycle system development and maintenance, analyzing large databases, collaborating with business teams and developers, engaging in a Scrumban environment, ensuring high system availability, and continuously learning and adapting to new challenges.

Requirements include 5+ years of experience in system engineering with a focus on Microsoft technologies, expertise in diagnosing and resolving complex issues, ability to work in an agile Scrumban environment, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure.

This remote position offers an opportunity to work with a large-scale system (~400 users, with 20-30 users using the system 24/7) and a substantial database (~6TB, ~5k tables). The role requires a balance of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
