Electrical Automation Controls Engineer

As an Electrical Automation Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for developing preliminary designs, programming PLCs and safety controllers, maintaining electrical drawings, and supporting various project management activities. Key responsibilities include:

• Developing preliminary designs and establishing functional requirements for new devices and systems
• Programming PLCs, drives, and safety controllers
• Maintaining and updating electrical drawings in AutoCAD
• Developing wire schedules for field interconnections
• Supporting FAT and SAT at customer locations
• Creating estimates and budgets, managing vendors, and delivering technical documentation
• Coordinating installation and startup of projects
• Providing technical support for issue-solving and equipment maintenance
• Involvement in project management activities, including financial justification and machine acceptance

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, 5 years of industrial electrical design experience in manufacturing, and experience with Allen-Bradley Rockwell PLCs and AutoCAD. The ability to work independently, lead teams, and provide technical guidance to Senior Management is crucial.
