Responsibilities For Operational Safety Engineer

  • Performing Hazard and Risk Analysis for emerging Robotics Platforms
  • Implementing state-of-the-art safety solutions on robots and workcells
  • Working closely with Google DeepMind Robotics Researchers
  • Coordinating with Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) teams
  • Preparing Safety training materials
  • Helping evolve safety standards for AI-enabled collaborative robots

Requirements For Operational Safety Engineer

  • PhD/MS in Computer Science or Robotics; or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience working with real-world robots, preferably Humanoid platforms
  • Strong exposure to Machine Learning/AI systems
  • Experience on solving practical Safety challenges, performing Risk Assessments
  • Understanding of ISO/RIA Safety Standards
  • Working with different stakeholders to define and implement safety guidelines
