Description For Account Manager, User Protection Services

Google Cloud is seeking an Account Manager for their User Protection Services business to drive cybersecurity solutions and customer success. This role combines strategic account management with technical expertise in cloud security, focusing on retaining and growing Google's cybersecurity business through existing customer relationships.

The position requires a blend of sales expertise and technical knowledge in cybersecurity, with responsibilities spanning territory development, pipeline management, and strategic customer relationship building. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Sales Development, Customer Success, and Engineering to deliver comprehensive security solutions.

Responsibilities For Account Manager, User Protection Services

  • Construct and execute territory development plan for Security products
  • Develop and drive pipeline from lead generation to customer onboarding
  • Build and maintain relationships to influence long-term strategic direction
  • Partner with Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Engineering teams
  • Represent User Protection Services in regional forecasts and team meetings

Requirements For Account Manager, User Protection Services

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 7 years of experience in a sales role in enterprise software or cloud space
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time as needed
  • Experience in negotiating large, complex agreements
  • Experience selling products or solutions in Cybersecurity or IT field
  • Knowledge of product and solution market trends in Cybersecurity and Google Cloud
