Description For Ad Tech Solutions Engineer, Mobile Apps

Google is seeking an Ad Tech Solutions Engineer for Mobile Apps to become a product expert and technical consultant, guiding mobile app companies towards the best ad monetization strategies. This role involves working closely with the sales team, identifying growth opportunities, and contributing to product strategy through industry insights.

Key responsibilities include working with external partners on technical product optimizations and issues (e.g., implementation issues, code performance, debugging), scaling solutions and processes, positioning products and features effectively, developing collateral and messaging to enable adoption, and bringing new products and features to market with strong uptake and growth.

In this role, you will gain expertise in Google ad monetization products (AdMob and Ad Manager), develop technical and business expertise in mobile app monetization, and learn to work with partners, cross-functional teams, and leadership to execute industry-changing projects.

The ideal candidate should have experience as a developer in the Mobile Apps space or ad monetization, debugging customer issues, working with technical teams, and managing multiple time-sensitive projects with competing priorities. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills are essential.

Responsibilities For Ad Tech Solutions Engineer, Mobile Apps

  • Build expertise around mobile app ad monetization products and implementations (Android, iOS)
  • Resolve product and technical escalations from sales teams and develop solutions to scale support
  • Drive technical and product consultations with mobile app developers. Working closely with Sales teams to provide the right solution for their business
  • Identify opportunities to optimize sales strategies and workflows. Develop and roll out best practices to accelerate product adoption and growth
  • Serve our publishers and work with teams across Go-to-Market, Product Management and Engineering to influence product strategy, design, and prioritization

Requirements For Ad Tech Solutions Engineer, Mobile Apps

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 3 years of experience in technical troubleshooting and writing code in one or more programming languages
