Description For Ads Threat Intelligence Security Developer

Google is seeking a Security Developer for their Ads Threat Intelligence team to help create and maintain the safest operating environment for Google's users and developers. Responsibilities For Ads Threat Intelligence Security Developer

  • Perform investigations on events to determine threats to Google users
  • Identify, analyze, and document signals, malicious behaviors, and threat reports
  • Build/Improve tools for analyzing malvertising and other ad abuse attacks
  • Own the analysis efforts of threat actors and serve as a subject matter expert
  • Identify vulnerabilities in ad products and assess risk of new and existing products

Requirements For Ads Threat Intelligence Security Developer

JavaScript
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 1 year of experience with security assessments or security design reviews or threat modeling
  • 1 year of coding experience in one or more general purpose languages
  • Understanding of web serving (HTTP, TCP, JavaScript)
  • Experience analyzing security of systems preferred
  • Expertise with malware analysis preferred
  • Expertise with signals development and threat modeling preferred
