Responsibilities For Area Site Operations Manager, Data Center Tech

  • Manage a team of technical operations managers supporting across north america through the successful completion of required maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair tasks
  • Support site selection process through operational and technical knowledge
  • Perform operational assessment and risk analysis of third-party colocation sites
  • Own colocation sites facility operation within an area/region, with full accountability for this area tactically and strategically
  • Keep main stakeholders informed about current work and discuss strategic decisions and directions with them

Requirements For Area Site Operations Manager, Data Center Tech

Linux
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Management, Reliability Engineering or equivalent practical experience
  • 8 years of experience in a HVAC, electrical, controls, water chemistry, generators, mechanical, or other similar technical domain
  • 4 years of experience in a data center or facilities environment
  • Experience in reliability centered maintenance and engineering
  • Experience in communicating effectively with all levels of the organization, including executives
  • Ability to forecast resource requirements in data-driven ways
