Google's Technical Infrastructure team is seeking a Business Operations Program Manager for their Global Data Centers. This role is crucial in maintaining and managing the operational aspects of Google's data center infrastructure. The position involves overseeing maintenance agreements, cost control, contractor management, and procurement projects. The ideal candidate will work closely with various stakeholders, including the Environment, Health, and Safety department, while supporting local data center technicians.

Responsibilities For Business Operations Program Manager, Global Data Centers

  • Lead annual budget development aligning with strategic objectives
  • Provide estimates for operational and capital budgets
  • Evaluate proposals using a structured decision-making matrix
  • Collect and analyze cost data, support management in maintaining key performance metrics
  • Facilitate the on-boarding process for new suppliers
  • Plan and coordinate tenders and agreements for essential services
  • Execute assignments with varying supervision levels

Requirements For Business Operations Program Manager, Global Data Centers

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 2 years of experience in program or project management
  • Experience in accounting and managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Experience with local tax and administration
  • Experience in vendor relationships and agreement management (preferred)
  • Experience in providing support for budgeting, forecasting, and purchase orders (preferred)
  • Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) software (preferred)
  • Experience in SAP, Sage, Oracle suite, or equivalent (preferred)
  • Knowledge of local authority requirements (preferred)
