Google's Technical Infrastructure team is seeking a Business Program Manager for their Global Data Centers. This role is crucial in supporting facilities technicians and managing facility-related systems agreements. The position involves cost control, agreement management for maintenance tasks, and collaboration with site environment, health and safety departments. As a Program Manager at Google, you'll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects, working with stakeholders across offices, time zones, and hemispheres. The Technical Infrastructure team is responsible for developing and maintaining Google's data centers and building next-generation platforms. Responsibilities For Business Program Manager, Global Data Centers
- Manage project goals and deliverables presented on a timeline and use the roadmap to manage stakeholder expectations, and to communicate plans and coordinate resources
- Collaborate with team members or stakeholders to understand or identify work problems and program goals, obtain prioritized deliverables, and discuss program impact
- Manage risk identification and risk assessment activities and mitigation plans in addition to monitoring foreseeable risk
- Establish and track processes in collaboration with stakeholders or teams accountable for following the established processes
Requirements For Business Program Manager, Global Data Centers
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 2 years of experience in program or project management
- Experience in accounting and managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Experience with project planning, status reporting, timeline estimation, issue tracking, meeting facilitation, or process documentation (preferred)
- Experience in stakeholder management (preferred)
- Ability to work collaboratively on a team, be adaptable in exercising judgment in a changing environment, and manage engaging priorities
- Ability to build relationships and deliver results in a cross-functional environment
