As a Cloud Customer Engineer in the InfraMod team focusing on Financial Services, you will:

  • Identify and qualify business opportunities, addressing key customer technical objections and developing strategies to resolve technical blockers.
  • Manage technical relationships with Google's customers, including product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and coordinating additional technical resources.
  • Demonstrate and prototype Google Cloud product integrations, guide customers through assessments of their existing legacy application environments, provide recommendations on prioritization roadmaps for application modernization, and identify applications for migration to hybrid-cloud computing models.
  • Recommend integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure required to successfully implement complete solutions using best practices on Google Cloud.
  • Travel to customer sites, conferences, and other related events as required.

This role requires a strong background in cloud native architecture, customer-facing experience, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical stakeholders and executive leaders. You'll be at the forefront of helping financial services organizations leverage Google Cloud technologies to transform their businesses.

Requirements For Cloud Customer Engineer, InfraMod, Financial Services (English)

Linux
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 6 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role
  • Experience with cloud engineering, on-premise engineering, virtualization, or containerization platforms
  • Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders
  • Ability to communicate in English fluently to support client relationship management in this region
