Google Cloud Professional Services team is seeking a Cloud Platform and Infrastructure Developer to guide customers through their cloud journey. In this role, you'll provide exceptional technical guidance to customers adopting Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, focusing on secure foundational cloud implementations, automated provisioning, and cloud-ready architectures. You'll work directly with customers to design and implement technical solutions while also collaborating with Product Management and Engineering teams to enhance Google Cloud products.

Responsibilities For Cloud Developer, Platforms and Infrastructure, Professional Services

  • Provide domain expertise in cloud platforms and infrastructure; solving complex cloud platform challenges
  • Work with customers to design and implement Cloud based technical architectures
  • Be a technical advisor and perform troubleshooting to resolve technical challenges for customers
  • Create and deliver best practice recommendations, tutorials, blog articles, and sample code
  • Travel up to 30% for in-region for meetings, technical reviews, and onsite delivery activities

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 3 years of experience automating infrastructure provisioning, DevOps, continuous integration, or delivery
  • Experience designing cloud enterprise solutions and supporting customer projects to completion
  • Experience coding in one or more general purpose languages including data structures, algorithms, and software design
  • Knowledge of containerization and container orchestration technologies
  • Familiarity with standard IT security practices
