Cloud Engineer, Data and Analytics

Google Cloud is seeking a Cloud Engineer specializing in Data and Analytics to join their team in Warsaw, Poland. This mid-level role requires a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, and 3 years of experience in developing data processing algorithms using various programming languages and frameworks.

As a Cloud Engineer, you will guide customers on storing, processing, analyzing, and visualizing data on the Google Cloud Platform. Your responsibilities include working on data migrations and modernization projects, designing large-scale data processing systems, developing scalable data pipelines, and troubleshooting platform/product challenges. You'll also need to understand data governance and security controls.

Key responsibilities include interacting with stakeholders to translate customer requirements into solution architectures, engaging with technical leads for high-velocity migration to GCP, designing and operationalizing data infrastructure using Cloud native products, implementing data quality and governance procedures, and managing project requirements and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have experience with data warehouses, Big Data technologies, NoSQL databases, machine learning tools, and infrastructure as code. Knowledge of secure key storage and data processing frameworks is also preferred.
