Cloud Solutions Architect, Rapid Innovation Team

Google Cloud is seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect to join their Public Sector Rapid Innovation Team. This role combines software development expertise with cloud architecture, focusing on creating prototypes and solutions for public sector clients. As part of Google Cloud's Professional Services team, you'll guide customers through their cloud transformation journey, leveraging Google's global network and infrastructure.

The position requires a unique blend of technical expertise and customer-facing skills. You'll be responsible for developing full-stack prototypes using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, translating experiments into scalable packages, and working closely with the Go-To-Market team. The role involves leading solution workshops, gathering requirements, and building roadmaps for GCP platform adoption, with a particular focus on AI/ML, Big Data Analytics, and Cloud Infrastructure.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong technical background who enjoys both hands-on development and architectural planning. You'll work in a highly integrated team environment, collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. The position offers competitive compensation ($147,000-$216,000) plus bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in customer-facing cloud solutions, strong full-stack development skills (Python, JavaScript, React), and must either hold or be eligible for Top Secret/SCI clearance. Experience with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, JAX) and AI/ML knowledge are highly valued.
