The Google Cloud team helps companies, schools, and government seamlessly make the switch to Google products and supports them along the way. As a Cloud Technical Solutions Engineer, Data (English, Korean), you will be part of a global team providing 24x7 support to help customers adopt Google Cloud. Your responsibilities include managing customer problems, developing knowledge of Google's product technology, acting as a consultant for internal stakeholders, understanding and advocating for customer needs, and working as part of a team to ensure round-the-clock customer support.
Key responsibilities:
- Diagnose and resolve customer issues on Google Cloud Platform products
- Troubleshoot and determine root causes for customer-reported issues
- Develop tools for faster diagnosis
- Act as a subject matter expert for internal teams
- Advocate for customer needs with cross-functional teams
- Work non-standard hours or shifts as part of a global support team
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 4 years of software development experience
- Experience debugging workload issues in multi-node environments
- Fluency in English and Korean
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with AI/ML tools and models
- Knowledge of distributed databases and data processing frameworks
- Experience in data analytics, warehousing, or Big Data applications
- Machine learning technology experience
- Understanding of TCP/IP, Unix/Linux, and client-server protocols
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
