Google Cloud is seeking a Cloud Technical Solutions Engineer to join their infrastructure team in Seoul. This role combines technical expertise with customer support, requiring strong problem-solving abilities and communication skills in both English and Korean. As a Technical Solutions Engineer, you'll be responsible for managing customer issues, developing deep product knowledge, and acting as a technical consultant for Google Cloud Platform products.

The position offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge cloud technology while supporting customers in their digital transformation journey. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, sales, and customer organizations to resolve technical challenges and improve Google Cloud products. Responsibilities For Cloud Technical Solutions Engineer, Infrastructure

  • Manage customer's problems through effective diagnosis, resolution, or implementation of new investigation tools
  • Develop knowledge of Google's product technology and underlying architectures
  • Act as a consultant and subject matter expert for internal stakeholders
  • Understand customer issues and advocate for their needs with cross-functional teams
  • Work as part of a team of Engineers/Consultants that globally ensure 24 hour customer support

Requirements For Cloud Technical Solutions Engineer, Infrastructure

Linux
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience
  • 4 years of experience coding in a general purpose coding language or in system design
  • Experience troubleshooting and advocating for customers' needs, and triaging technical issues
  • Experience reading/debugging code
  • Ability to communicate in English and Korean fluently
  • System/network administrator level knowledge of Linux/Unix or other operating systems
