Cloud Technical Solutions Engineer, Networking (English, Chinese)

The Google Cloud team helps companies, schools, and government seamlessly make the switch to Google products and supports them along the way. As a Cloud Technical Solutions Engineer, Networking (English, Chinese), you will listen to the customer and swiftly problem-solve technical issues to show how our products can make businesses more productive, collaborative, and innovative. You will work closely with a cross-functional team of web developers and systems administrators, as well as a variety of both regional and international customers.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing customer issues through diagnosis, resolution, or implementation of new investigation tools
• Developing an understanding of Google's product technology and underlying architectures
• Acting as a consultant and subject matter expert for internal stakeholders
• Working closely with multiple product and engineering teams to improve the product
• Interacting with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) teams to drive high-quality production

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience
• 4 years of experience coding in a general-purpose language or in system design, troubleshooting, and advocating for customers' needs
• 4 years of experience with two or more of: Web Tech, Data/Big Data, Systems Admin, Machine Learning, Networking, Kubernetes, Oracle, SAP
• Fluency in English and Chinese to support client relationship management in the region

Preferred qualifications include experience with cloud storage solutions, IaaS solutions, computer networking, web technologies, and system/network administrator level knowledge of Linux/Unix or Windows systems.
