Description For Cloud Technical Solutions Engineering Manager, Serverless

The Google Cloud team helps companies, schools, and government seamlessly make the switch to Google products and supports them along the way. As a Cloud Technical Solutions Engineering Manager for Serverless, you will manage customer challenges and provide level two support to other Support teams. You will troubleshoot technical issues, advocate for customer needs, and help drive business growth of Google Cloud.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing customer problems through effective diagnosis and resolution
  • Developing knowledge of Google's product technology and architectures
  • Acting as a consultant and subject matter expert for internal stakeholders
  • Understanding customer issues and advocating for their needs
  • Working as part of a global team to ensure 24-hour customer support

This role requires a mix of technical troubleshooting, customer advocacy, and team management skills. You'll be working with various cloud solutions, including cloud databases, networking, and enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have experience in technical troubleshooting, customer support, and managing technical teams.

Requirements For Cloud Technical Solutions Engineering Manager, Serverless

Kubernetes

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience
  • 8 years of experience in technical troubleshooting, customer advocacy, and triaging technical issues
  • 2 years of experience managing a technical, customer-facing team
  • 3 years of experience with two or more of the following: Web Tech, HTTP, HTML, DNS, TCP, Routing, VPN, VLAN, Peering, Load Balancing, Kubernetes, Linux, Unix, Window systems
  • Experience with System integrations and onboarding to Cloud
