Google is seeking a Construction EHS Area Program Manager to lead their Environmental, Health and Safety programs for data center construction. Responsibilities For Construction EHS Area Program Manager
- Lead the development and ownership of the Environmental, Health and Safety Construction (EHS) program for area construction oversight and data collection
- Ensure that contractors deliver on program safety performance expectations and agreement requirements providing solutions to the issues
- Monitor, advise and assist the construction project teams to protect people, environment, and ensure compliance
- Drive culture that embraces a continuous learning approach and aligns with organizational strategies including goals and objectives
- Liaise with the Construction EHS team to ensure best practices are completely implemented, progress reported, trends and data captured, analyzed and risks mitigated
Requirements For Construction EHS Area Program Manager
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 5 years of experience in program or project management
- Experience with Data Center Construction Program Management
- Experience with Construction Safety Management
- Certified Safety Professional or other Environmental, Health and Safety Construction (EHS) certifications (preferred)
- 10 years of Environmental Healthy and Safety construction and subcontractor management experience (preferred)
- 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects (preferred)
- Experience working in operational data centers with a focus on safety, efficiency and customer satisfaction (preferred)
- Understanding of construction program management including basic construction agreements (preferred)
