Responsibilities For CPU Technical Program Manager, Silicon

  • Drive inter-discipline discussions on budgeting or tracking and manage engineering vendor agreements with Finance and Operation teams
  • Establish a reliable cadence for program reviews, decision-making, prioritization, and resource stewardship
  • Lead a governance structure that drives executive decision-making, and ensure governance structure exposes and mitigates dependencies
  • Define or manage a program portfolio solving problems for the organization and product area
  • Drive discussions at the project level, coordinate among architecture, design, design verification, emulation, and physical design teams

Requirements For CPU Technical Program Manager, Silicon

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience with CPU engineering or CPU program management
  • Experience in modern processor micro-architecture, processor design flows, and emulation technologies
  • Experience in the effect of power and thermal constraints (preferred)
  • Experience in industry standard CPU benchmarks (preferred)
  • Knowledge of Advanced RISC Machine (ARM) Instruction Set Architecture (preferred)
  • 5 years of experience in managing cross-functional or cross-team projects (preferred)
