Google's gTech Users and Products (gUP) team is seeking a Customer & Partner Solutions Engineer to join their mission of creating helpful and trusted experiences across Google's product ecosystem. This role combines technical expertise with customer advocacy, focusing on authentication and authorization solutions like Sign-in With Google and OAuth. The position requires a blend of technical skills in web technologies, programming, and database systems, along with strong communication abilities to work with both internal and external stakeholders.

The role involves investigating and implementing technical solutions for authentication systems, developing documentation, and building tools to improve operational efficiency.   • Investigate technical solutions needed for the roll out of life-cycle events for Google's first-party/third-party authentication and authorization solutions
  • Identify technical gaps, recognize patterns, and surface opportunities for solution reuse or new innovations
  • Author technical integration documentation and communications to developers/partners
  • Implement tools or dashboards to track and improve operational efficiency
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate with internal teams and external partners
  • Develop subject matter expertise in the identity space
