Responsibilities For Customer Engineer, Google Cloud

  • Inspire customers and peers to solve difficult problems with novel solutions
  • Work with sales teams to identify and qualify business opportunities
  • Own the technical relationship with Google's enterprise customers
  • Recommend integration strategies, hybrid architectures, platforms and application infrastructure
  • Demonstrate thought leadership in Google Cloud computing
  • Provide customer and market feedback to the product and engineering teams

Requirements For Customer Engineer, Google Cloud

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
  • 6 years of experience with designing and implementing cloud-based solution architectures for PaaS, IaaS, or SaaS
  • 5 years of experience as a Solutions Architect, Developer, Systems Engineer, DevOps Tool Engineer, Technical Support Engineer, or Virtualization Architect
  • Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders
  • Ability to communicate in English and Japanese fluently
