Customer Engineer III, Application Modernization, Strategic Accounts

As a Customer Engineer at Google Cloud, you will partner with technical Sales teams as an enterprise hybrid cloud subject matter expert to differentiate Google Cloud to our customers. You will help prospective and existing customers and partners understand the power of Google Cloud, develop creative cloud solutions and architectures to solve their business challenges, engage in proof-of-concept, and troubleshoot technical questions and roadblocks.

Your responsibilities include:

• Identifying and qualifying business opportunities
• Sharing enterprise infrastructure and cloud modernization expertise
• Guiding customers through assessments of their existing legacy application environment
• Structuring and executing prototyping workshops
• Traveling to customer sites, conferences, and other related events

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• 10 years of experience with cloud native architecture and development methodologies
• Experience with architectural design patterns, platform engineering, and customer-facing roles
• Strong communication skills for engaging with technical stakeholders and executive leaders

Preferred qualifications include experience with scalable architectures, programming languages, cloud-native software development methodologies, and exposure to the software development lifecycle.
