Description For Customer Engineer III, Data Analytics, Google Cloud

Google Cloud is seeking a Customer Engineer III specializing in Data Analytics to join their team. This role involves partnering with technical Sales teams as a data analytics subject matter expert to differentiate Google Cloud to customers. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud native architecture, Big Data technologies, and customer-facing roles.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Identifying and qualifying business opportunities related to data lifecycle aspects
  2. Sharing data analytics expertise to support technical relationships with customers
  3. Identifying business and technical requirements, conducting technical discovery, and architecting client solutions
  4. Working directly with Google Cloud products to demonstrate and prototype integrations
  5. Preparing and delivering sales messaging to highlight Google Cloud's value proposition

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, 10 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role, and experience with Big Data technologies and concepts. Preferred qualifications include experience in technical sales or consulting in cloud computing, data analytics, or Big Data, as well as expertise in architecture design, cloud computing aspects, and data warehousing solutions.

  • Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders
