Google Cloud is seeking a Customer Engineer III for their Security Platform team to drive technical relationships with customers and partners. This role combines deep security expertise with customer-facing responsibilities, requiring 10 years of cloud native architecture experience. The position involves working closely with technical sales teams as a cybersecurity subject matter expert to differentiate Google Cloud's security solutions.

The ideal candidate will help customers understand Google Cloud's capabilities, develop creative cloud solutions, and engage in proofs of concepts. They will need excellent technical, communication, and organizational skills to effectively present solutions and partner with internal engineering stakeholders.   • Work with the team to identify and qualify business opportunities
  • Share in-depth security expertise to support technical relationship with customers
  • Work directly with Google Cloud products to demonstrate and prototype integrations
  • Recommend integration strategies, enterprise architectures, and platforms
  • Travel to customer sites, conferences, and other related events

Requirements For Customer Engineer III, Security Platform, Google Cloud

Kubernetes
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 10 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role
  • Experience in cybersecurity matters (threat detection, malware intelligence, cloud security posture management, IAM systems)
  • Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders
  • English proficiency
