  • Collaborate with Business and Engineering teams to determine growth in order to support business goals
  • Organize, train, and equip the Business Engineering team
  • Assess team's Go-To-Market (GTM) readiness and build training plans
  • Participate in review meetings providing insight into technical opportunities
  • Work with Business Account team, customer support, product management, customer solutions, and engineering to resolve product problems

Requirements For Customer Engineering Manager, Google Cloud

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 10 years of experience as a technical field engineer in a cloud computing environment or in a similar customer-facing role
  • 10 years of experience in a people manager role
  • Experience in strategy development, leadership engagement, and team development
  • Knowledge of Big Data, PaaS, SaaS, IaaS, public cloud
  • Experience using or managing databases
  • Ability to craft compelling messages for different audiences
