Google's Data Center team is seeking a Facilities Mechanical Engineer to join their world-class operations. Responsibilities For Data Center Facilities Mechanical Engineer (English, Japanese)

Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical equipment in a data center environment
Provide root cause analysis, recovery, prevention actions for service failure

Requirements For Data Center Facilities Mechanical Engineer (English, Japanese)

Linux

Associate's degree, trade school certification, or other certified training in a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
2 years of experience in operating, maintaining, or troubleshooting HVAC and mechanical systems of industrial facilities
Ability to work non-standard working hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
Ability to communicate in English and Japanese fluently
Certification in data center facilities (preferred)
Experience in mission-critical facility environments (preferred)
Experience in performing maintenance on critical mechanical systems (preferred)
Understanding of multiple disciplines such as mechanical, electrical, control, and generator systems (preferred)
