Responsibilities For Data Center Mechanical Engineer

  • Design, construct, and have knowledge in the areas of data centers and complex mission critical facilities
  • Large-scale data center, colocation facilities, mission critical facilities mechanical and HVAC infrastructure knowledge. Work in teams, matrix organizations, and with members in different locations
  • Develop mechanical and HVAC related infrastructures in data center projects from site evaluations to final turnover, and major modifications to existing infrastructures
  • Provide and prepare documents including scope of works, engineering analysis, design, review, engineering work demarcations, specifications and documentation, facility audits, commissioning support, site inspections and work acceptance

Requirements For Data Center Mechanical Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, a related Engineering field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience in data center electrical design, construction, and operation in Mechanical/HVAC or related engineering
  • Experience in Data Center Cooling systems and Energy
  • Experience in data center mechanical and HVAC design, construction and operation
  • Experience and inter-disciplinary knowledge, e.g. architectural, structural, civil, IT/Telecom, security, electrical systems
