Responsibilities For Data Center Operations Manager

  • Oversee the day-to-day management of teams within data center operations
  • Work together to identify and resolve problems and create solutions for our global computing and network architecture
  • Manage the implementation of projects within the team. Communicate priorities and facilitate hand-off of operations to following shift leads
  • Hire, coach and develop a team while achieving business goals. Demonstrate the ability to implement and drive the safety culture at the site, while fostering an inclusive, diverse and collaborative team environment
  • Ensure data center-related priorities are consistent with company objectives

Requirements For Data Center Operations Manager

Linux
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience in computing infrastructure, networking, operating systems, or hardware
  • 2 years of experience managing technical teams, vendor or contract management and delivery
  • Experience with different operating systems (e.g., Linux)
  • Experience with developing network architecture
  • Ability to work non-standard hours and differing rotations/shifts
