Data Center Operations Manager, Global Server Operations

Google's Hardware Operations team seeks a Data Center Operations Manager to lead their state-of-the-art physical infrastructure operations in Saint-Ghislain, Belgium. This role combines technical leadership with operational excellence, requiring both English and French fluency. The position involves managing teams of Data Center Technicians responsible for server hardware installation, configuration, and maintenance.

The role is crucial in overseeing critical data center initiatives, from data security to machine maintenance and networking. You'll be responsible for identifying trends through data analytics and driving necessary changes in tools, processes, and procedures. As the point of contact for escalations, you'll work closely with Program Managers and Data Center Operations teams to shape both short-term and long-term strategies.

The position offers the opportunity to work with some of the most sophisticated electrical and HVAC systems globally, alongside a diverse and creative team of engineers. The ideal candidate will bring 8 years of infrastructure experience and 3 years of team management experience, combining technical expertise with strong leadership skills.
