Data Center Operations Manager, Global Server Operations

Google's Hardware Operations team is seeking a Data Center Operations Manager to lead their state-of-the-art physical infrastructure operations. This role combines technical expertise with leadership, overseeing teams of Data Center Technicians responsible for server hardware installation, configuration, and maintenance.

The position requires a strong background in computing infrastructure, with 8 years of experience and proven leadership capabilities. You'll be managing complex installations, troubleshooting, and maintaining hardware components while leading teams in delivering critical data center initiatives. The role involves working with Linux clusters, networking components, and server infrastructure.

As a Data Center Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for identifying trends through data analytics, driving process improvements, and serving as the primary escalation point for data center sites. You'll collaborate with Program Managers and Data Center Operations teams to shape both short-term and long-term strategies.
