Data Center Operations Manager, Global Server Operations

Google's Hardware Operations team seeks a Data Center Operations Manager to lead and oversee critical infrastructure operations. This role combines technical expertise with leadership, managing teams of Data Center Technicians responsible for server hardware installation, configuration, and maintenance. The position requires deep knowledge of computing infrastructure, networking, and operating systems, with a focus on large-scale data center operations.

As a manager, you'll oversee complex installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance of server hardware and components, while ensuring your team effectively configures and maintains Google's Linux cluster environment. The role extends to managing network infrastructure, including routers, hubs, bridges, and switches. You'll be working with state-of-the-art physical infrastructure that powers Google's search technology and other services.
