Description For Data Center Security Manager, Technical Infrastructure

Google is seeking a Data Center Security Manager to join their Technical Infrastructure team in Eemshaven, Netherlands. This role is crucial for maintaining the security and compliance of Google's data center operations. The position involves managing security vendors, budgeting for security services, and implementing security policies across the facility.

As a Data Center Security Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing the Compliance, Security, and Risk Management (CSRM) program at the data center campus. This includes handling security incidents, managing guard contracts, and addressing all physical security-related issues. You'll need to provide after-hours on-call support and be ready to respond to large-scale events or crises when necessary.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with 5 years of experience in operational leadership and vendor management. You should have a strong background in security technologies, including CCTV, access control, and incident management systems. Experience with data center security and construction site safety is highly valued.

Responsibilities For Data Center Security Manager, Technical Infrastructure

  • Be responsible for the compliance, security, and risk management (CSRM) program at the Data Center campus
  • Provide after-hours on-call management support and participate in emergent, large-scale event response or crisis management
  • Implement established compliance processes aligned with CSRM policies, standards, guidelines, and relevant legal or regulatory requirements
  • Manage the security related costs through budget, forecasting, and invoice control for the assigned campus

Requirements For Data Center Security Manager, Technical Infrastructure

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience leading operational or project based work and tasks, and coordinating or managing resources for data center locations
  • 5 years of experience managing, sourcing, or procuring business resources and vendors
  • Experience with security technologies, including CCTV, access control, incident management systems, and security operations centers
  • Experience managing technical and non-technical groups to drive business outcomes
