Data Center Site Operations Manager, Data Center Operations

Google's Data Center team designs and operates some of the most sophisticated electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and HVAC systems in the world. As a Data Center Site Operations Manager, you will lead a team responsible for operating, monitoring, and supporting physical facilities conditions in Google data centers. Your duties will include managing heating and cooling systems, power supply, generators, UPS systems, electrical distribution, and control and monitoring systems.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Leading a team of individuals, setting priorities, and providing feedback and coaching.
2. Ensuring compliance with facility, maintenance, and standard programs.
3. Monitoring data center systems operation and responding to emergencies.
4. Developing strategies to improve efficiency, minimize cost, and reduce environmental impact.
5. Collaborating with partner teams to implement short and long-term strategies.

You will play a crucial role in maintaining Google's technical infrastructure, ensuring that environmental and safety standards are met, and developing creative approaches to reduce operational costs while improving overall data center efficiency. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and strategic thinking to keep Google's product portfolio running smoothly and efficiently.
