Responsibilities For Data Center Thermal Mechanical Engineer

  • Create test plans, perform testing, and validate designs to meet engineering requirements
  • Troubleshoot, root cause, and resolve potential technical issues
  • Influence and shape products by providing mechanical and structural engineering expertise into the technology road map with data-driven decisions
  • Identify and scope projects around innovation opportunities as well as technology risks
  • Provide technical mentorship and coaching and foster professional growth within the team

Requirements For Data Center Thermal Mechanical Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience with thermal Cooling plant design and manufacturing analysis using FEA (ANSYS/FloTHERM/Nastran)
  • 5 years of experience in mechanical design and documentation using 3D CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Catia, Inventor)
  • 5 years of experience in designing and analyzing with tolerance analysis and tolerance loop methodologies
