Responsibilities For Data Scientist II, Research, Lens and Contextual Search

  • Collaborate with stakeholders in cross-projects and team settings to identify and clarify business or product questions to answer
  • Provide feedback to translate and refine business questions into tractable analysis, evaluation metrics, or mathematical models
  • Develop roadmaps to accelerate feature discovery, analyzing clusters of use patterns
  • Gather information, business goals, priorities, and organizational context
  • Own the process of gathering, extracting, and compiling data across sources via relevant tools

Requirements For Data Scientist II, Research, Lens and Contextual Search

Python
  • Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Economics, Operations Research, Engineering, a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience in one or more areas of statistical or ML modeling, experimentation or survey design, building and reading from logs-based pipelines
  • 2 years of work experience using analytics to solve product or business problems, coding (e.g., Python, R, SQL), querying databases or statistical analysis
  • Understanding of how users want to interact with Search
  • Excellent attention to investigative accuracy and scale
