Google Identity and Engagement (GIE) is seeking a Data Scientist to join their Trustworthy Personalization team. This role is crucial in helping shape how users build and manage their digital identities across Google's ecosystem. You'll be working with Google's flagship products, analyzing user behavior, and driving product decisions through data-driven insights. The position involves partnering with cross-functional teams, performing advanced statistical analysis, and supporting experimentation methods to improve user experiences.

  • Partner with Product, Engineering and UX research teams to provide investigative thought leadership
  • Perform large-scale data analysis and modeling to identify opportunities
  • Support teams with advanced experimentation methods
  • Create product recommendations with presentations of findings
  • Identify and advise on opportunities to improve data infrastructure

Requirements For Data Scientist, Trustworthy Personalization, Google Identity and Engagement

Python
  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering, Physics, Economics, or a related quantitative field
  • 2 years of work experience with analysis applications and coding (Python, R, SQL)
  • Experience with cross-functional work through data product life-cycle
  • Excellent problem-framing, problem-solving and team collaboration skills
  • Excellent communication skills
