The Raxium team at Google is pioneering the development of ultra-dense and efficient monolithic RGB microLED displays for AR applications. As a Datapath and Database Engineer in the test team, you'll be instrumental in developing and improving test systems for next-generation AR display panels. The role combines database expertise with hands-on system development, working in a collaborative environment that interfaces with the entire Raxium display organization.

The position offers a competitive compensation package of $147,000-$216,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Responsibilities For Datapath and Database Engineer, System Test, Raxium

  • Support and improve existing data flow including: test data architecture (Python, SQL Server and PostgreSQL, JMP)
  • Ensure that data platforms and architecture meet the needs of fast moving production and Research and Development environments
  • Collaborate with numerous cross-functional teams to address data needs
  • Work with Test Engineering and Reliability teams to enhance test data frameworks
  • Create secure, structured data paths for interactions with customers and partners while maintaining IP security

Requirements For Datapath and Database Engineer, System Test, Raxium

Python
PostgreSQL
  • Bachelor's degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Vision, or in a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience developing or managing data systems, or 3 years of experience with an advanced degree
  • Experience in database development including ETL tools and SQL programming
  • Experience in SQLAlchemy or PostgreSQL
  • Experience scripting in Python
  • Experience in manufacturing testing
