Google is seeking a Developer Relations Engineer to join their Cloud Developer Relations team, focusing on Application Ecosystem and Runtimes. This role combines community management and developer advocacy, requiring collaboration with developers at conferences and online while advocating for their interests within Google. The position is part of the Modern Development advocacy team, which empowers software developers and operators across the entire life-cycle of applications, concentrating on Runtimes, DevOps, and AI-assisted SDLC.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of technical experience and strong communication skills, as they'll be creating technical content, delivering presentations, and managing strategic developer programs. They'll work closely with product engineering teams to improve Google's products by providing developer feedback, reviewing API designs, and testing new features.

The position involves hands-on coding, troubleshooting, and creating sample code and client libraries.   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage product engagement and identify user needs
  • Attend or facilitate conferences and events to gain and share insights on user experience and technologies
  • Lead strategic developer programs and act as an authority in the domain
  • Contribute input and feedback on products or programs, and represent the interests of partners to internal stakeholders

Requirements For Developer Relations Engineer, Application Ecosystem and Runtimes
