- Lead and manage a team of Customer Engineers and Customer Engineering Managers with pre-sales responsibilities
- Develop and execute customer engineering strategy for State and Local markets
- Lead the State and Local Sales team in meeting/exceeding quarterly and annual bookings goals
- Maintain strong understanding of products and technologies, provide technical guidance/support
- Provide strong leadership for State and Local cloud market direction
Requirements For Director, Customer Engineering SLED, Google Public Sector
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience
- 15 years of experience in Technical Sales Engineering in cloud computing or equivalent customer-facing technical role
- 10 years of experience selling IT solutions to state and local agencies
- 10 years of experience in go-to-market and leading team to meet business growth goals
- Experience managing teams as a manager of managers
