Engineering Manager II, AdsML SRE

Google's Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team is seeking an Engineering Manager II to lead their AdsML SRE team in Dublin. This role combines software and systems engineering expertise to build and maintain Google's large-scale, distributed systems. As an Engineering Manager, you'll lead a team responsible for ensuring the reliability and uptime of Google's critical services while focusing on optimization and automation.

The position requires a strong technical background with 8 years of experience in data structures and algorithms, along with 5 years of software development experience. You'll need 3 years of people management experience and expertise in distributed systems. The role involves leading a team of Software/Systems Engineers, managing global on-call rotations, and building automation to prevent problem recurrence.
