Responsibilities For Engineering Manager, Play Web Store and Platform

  • Hire and grow team members, guide technical directions, work with leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to define product areas
  • Partner with stakeholders to build product vision roadmaps, technical leadership, set priorities, and oversee execution for the team
  • Lead the team in building and improving our Web infrastructure and analytics to enable more Play products on Web
  • Incorporate data retention compliance and privacy features to ensure the Web Store and Platform Legal compliance
  • Grow engineering teams to deliver business impact

Requirements For Engineering Manager, Play Web Store and Platform

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent practical experience
  • 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript)
  • 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field (preferred)
  • 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization (preferred)
