Google Cloud Platform is seeking an Enterprise Cloud Architect to join their team in Milan, Italy. This role requires a seasoned professional with 8+ years of experience in cloud architectures and transformations. As an Enterprise Cloud Architect, you'll be instrumental in helping customers transform their businesses using Google Cloud technology.

The position involves working with high-level executives to drive cloud adoption strategies, design end-to-end solutions, and lead technical delivery across infrastructure, networking, and operations. You'll need to be fluent in both English and Italian to effectively work with customers in Italy.

The role sits within the Enterprise Cloud Architecture team, which focuses on delivering predictable business value through strategic architecture and technical blueprints. You'll be part of Google Cloud's mission to accelerate digital transformation across industries, working with cutting-edge technology and tools.

Responsibilities For Enterprise Cloud Architect

  • Drive the end-to-end cloud design and technical delivery across infrastructure, networking, operations, application migrations
  • Engage with Chief Architects, CTOs, CISOs and CIOs, and act as an senior technical advisor
  • Influence tactical and strategic decision making for a technology transformation journey
  • Drive industry-centric accelerators, assets, and POV to create broader impact across the industry
  • Provide credible advice by leveraging cross-functional technical and functional domains

Requirements For Enterprise Cloud Architect

Kubernetes
  • 8 years of experience with cloud architectures in customer-facing/support roles
  • 8 years of experience in leading cloud transformations, including customer-facing migration, program management, service discovery, assessment, planning, execution and operations
  • Ability to communicate in English and Italian fluently to work with customers in Italy
