Google is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Program Manager, Prevention Advisor (French) to join their Data Center team in Saint-Ghislain, Belgium. This role involves managing EHS programs, ensuring compliance with regulations, and driving continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, 2+ years of program management experience, and fluency in French. They will be responsible for maintaining environmental permits, implementing ISO 14001 certification, and building relationships with stakeholders. The Data Center team designs and operates sophisticated electrical and HVAC systems, and is committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace. Responsibilities For Environmental Health and Safety Program Manager, Prevention Advisor (French)

  • Manage Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) programs independently to ensure both a safe and compliant workplace and a focus on continuous improvement
  • Maintain environmental permits/programs to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations. Monitor and track program performance, identify areas for improvement and implement corrective action plans
  • Drive the implementation and active maintenance of the site's ISO 14001 certification
  • Meet regularly with stakeholders (e.g. Operational Leadership, Union Representatives) to communicate on performance and requirements. Build trusted relationships with program stakeholders, including managing expectations of program stakeholders and ensuring they have the insights they need to make effective decisions
  • Investigate work-related incidents, analyze reports, and recommend measures to prevent recurrence

Requirements For Environmental Health and Safety Program Manager, Prevention Advisor (French)

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 2 years of experience in program or project management
  • Experience in Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) management, and managing EHS compliance for industrial facilities
  • Ability to communicate in French fluently in order to communicate with local authorities on regulatory topics
