Responsibilities For Epitaxy Process Engineer

  • Define and execute data collection activities for high complexity technical issues
  • Own and continuously improve production epitaxy processes at volume manufacturing scale
  • Drive process design, optimization, and qualification activities of a manufacturing process
  • Work with the Epitaxy Engineering team to develop systems and methodologies
  • Collaborate with Operation teams to drive improved cycle times and process stability
  • Work with software, epitaxy operations and epi engineering to improve Statistical Process Control (SPC)

Requirements For Epitaxy Process Engineer

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics or Material Science, or equivalent practical experience
  • 8 years of experience in manufacturing or in an epitaxial growth engineering technical environment
  • Experience setting up manufacturing assembly processes
  • Experience with technical problem-solving and collaborative innovation
  • Experience in material characterization including optical and structural characterization techniques
  • Understanding of Metal-Organic Chemical Vapor Deposition (MOCVD)
