Responsibilities For Facilities Manager, Data Center Operations

  • Lead a team and communicate team priorities that support organizational goals
  • Meet regularly with individuals to discuss performance and development, provide feedback and coaching
  • Ensure team members are following work processes and complying with guidelines
  • Monitor data center systems operation and control site activities to minimize risk
  • Develop strategies to improve efficiency, minimize cost, and reduce environmental impact
  • Collaborate with partner teams and project leads to set and implement strategies

Requirements For Facilities Manager, Data Center Operations

Linux
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 9 years of experience in facilities management including facility, technical, and team management
  • Master's degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience (preferred)
  • Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems in a data center environment (preferred)
  • Excellent people management and leadership skills (preferred)
  • Experience in collaborating with other business units (preferred)
