Responsibilities For Facilities Manager, Data Center Operations
- Lead a team of individuals, set and communicate individual and team priorities that support organizational goals
- Ensure team members are following work processes and complying with guidelines
- Monitor data center systems operation and control site activities to minimize risk
- Develop strategies to improve efficiency, minimize cost, and reduce environmental impact
- Collaborate with partner teams and project leads to set and implement short and long-term strategies
Requirements For Facilities Manager, Data Center Operations
- Associate's degree, trade school certification, or other certified training in a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 7 years of experience in facilities management including facility, technical, and team management
- Master's degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience (preferred)
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems in a data center environment (preferred)
- Excellent people management and leadership skills (preferred)
- Experience in collaborating with other business units (preferred)
