As a Field Sales Manager for the Public Sector, you'll lead a team of Field Sales Representatives across Australia and New Zealand, focusing on public sector accounts. This role combines strategic leadership, relationship building, and technical expertise to drive Google Cloud adoption.

You'll be responsible for developing and maintaining C-level executive relationships, understanding customers' unique challenges and goals, and positioning Google Cloud solutions effectively. Responsibilities For Field Sales Manager, Public Sector, Google Cloud

  • Lead a team of Field Sales Representatives (FSRs) and build inclusive growth culture
  • Build executive relationships with customers and influence long-term direction
  • Lead account strategy in generating and developing business growth opportunities
  • Represent territory in business planning, town halls, and team meetings
  • Travel to and present at customer meetings, conferences, and other events

Requirements For Field Sales Manager, Public Sector, Google Cloud

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 10 years of experience in technology-related sales or business development at a B2B software company
  • Leadership experience (people management, team lead, mentorship, or coaching)
  • Australian Citizenship (essential)
  • Must obtain NV1 clearance under Australian Government Protective Security Policy Framework
  • Experience working with cross-functional internal teams and external partners
  • Ability to manage business and commercial models
