Google Cloud is seeking a Field Solution Architect II specializing in AI Infrastructure to support their sales teams in deploying Google Cloud's AI/ML accelerators (TPU/GPU). The position requires deep expertise in cloud infrastructure, distributed training, and machine learning operations. You'll work with top customers, from AI innovators to large enterprises and startups, helping them leverage Google Cloud's accelerators for optimal performance and cost-effectiveness. Your responsibilities will include designing large-scale AI compute clusters, running benchmarks, and developing migration strategies.

You should be comfortable with both technical implementation and customer engagement, as you'll be responsible for demonstrating Google Cloud's capabilities through POCs and benchmarking while building repeatable solutions for broader adoption.

Responsibilities For Field Solution Architect II, AI Infrastructure, North, Google Cloud
- Become trusted advisors to top customers, helping them understand and incorporate AI accelerators into their cloud strategy
- Design large-scale training and inferencing platforms
- Demonstrate Google Cloud differentiation through POCs, feature demonstrations, and performance optimization
- Build repeatable assets to enable other customers and internal teams
- Influence Google Cloud strategy at the intersection of infrastructure and AI/ML
- Travel to customer sites and events as needed
Requirements For Field Solution Architect II, AI Infrastructure, North, Google Cloud
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5 years of experience with cloud infrastructure
- Experience with distributed training and optimizing performance versus costs
- Experience coding in Python, bash scripting, and using OSS frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Jax
- Experience with orchestrators such as Slurm or Kubernetes
- Experience building and operationalizing machine learning models
