As a trusted advisor, you'll need deep technical knowledge in cloud infrastructure, distributed training, and machine learning frameworks, combined with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to various stakeholders. The role requires 5 years of experience with cloud infrastructure and hands-on experience with ML frameworks and orchestration tools.

Responsibilities For Field Solution Architect II, AI Infrastructure, West, Google Cloud
- Become trusted advisors to customers, helping them understand and incorporate AI accelerators into their cloud strategy
- Demonstrate Google Cloud differentiation through POCs, feature demonstrations, and performance optimization
- Build repeatable assets to enable other customers and internal teams
- Influence Google Cloud strategy at the intersection of infrastructure and AI/ML
- Travel to customer sites and events as needed
Requirements For Field Solution Architect II, AI Infrastructure, West, Google Cloud
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5 years of experience with cloud infrastructure
- Experience with distributed training and optimizing performance versus costs
- Experience coding in Python, bash scripting, and using OSS frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Jax
- Experience with orchestrators such as Slurm or Kubernetes
- Experience building and operationalizing machine learning models
